Chrysalis is an arts and heritage project that celebrates the sounds of the people and places at the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear hospital and the Eastman Dental Hospital.
In 2019, these institutions will move from their current buildings on Grays Inn Road to a new facility, existing for the first time under the same roof. Following a research period collecting oral histories interviews and field recordings of the two sites, workshops with patients, staff and members of the public, an immersive audio artwork will be created for installation at the new hospital, looking to celebrate new conversations and connections.
